Sprinkman Real Estate Takes Australia!
September 25th, 2015
G’Day from Down Under! My name is Caroline Johnson and I have had the pleasure of being a part of the Sprinkman Real Estate team for the past seven months as their Social Media Intern turned remote Digital Marketing Maven. As the eyes, ears and hands behind Sprinkman’s social media pages and blog posts, I love being able to work and connect with our followers wherever they are in the world. Social media and the internet have allowed millions of people, including myself, to work remotely and that is an amazing milestone for humanity.
Recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I decided I didn’t want to jump into a full-time job; so, I, along with a college friend, decided to embark on a year long adventure in Australia starting this past month. Having been here for almost a month now, I have learned a few things about the Australian way of life. For example, Aussies are coffee finatics, they shorten every word they can (footy, arvo), and they absolutely love their mates. They also take their brekkie (see what I did there?) very seriously. My exploration has just begun, yet I already feel like it’s flying by right before my eyes. I plan on exploring as much as I possibly can in this beautiful country whilst working as a Digital nomad for Sprinkman Real Estate.
Every month I will devote a blog post to my travels in Australia, specifically, discussing some aspect of the Australian real estate market and how it compares/contrasts with the US real estate market. Our team at Sprinkman Real Estate loves to travel because it challenges our way of thinking while providing us with a new perspective on life. Being a social media enthusiast, I believe in the power of sharing; and, I plan on sharing and teaching you something new every month. I hope you follow along with me on this journey through Australia!
If you would like to learn even more about my travels, you can head to uprooteddownunder.com to read my blog and flip through countless photos of delicious food and breathtaking beaches.
Look out for a blog post coming soon!
