Stoughton is the birthplace of the coffee break, community television, and the world-famous Stoughton High School Norwegian Dancers. Located on the scenic Yahara River, Stoughton is a beautiful historic city just 15 miles south of Madison. At the top of downtown stands the spectacular Stoughton Opera House, the crown jewel of the community.
